Visikol® HISTO™ Buffers

Visikol offers a variety of buffers to be used for the Visikol HISTO immunolabeling process. These buffers are available for individual purchase and also offered as a kit.

Visikol HISTO Washing Buffer 10X
The Visikol HISTO Washing Buffer 10X is used for the Visikol HISTO immunolabeling process. This solution is a concentrate and is comprised of: PPBS with 0.2% Tween-20 and 10µg/mL heparin. This solution should be diluted to 1X concentration with H2O prior to use.

Visikol HISTO Penetration Buffer
Visikol HISTO Penetration Buffer is used with the Visikol HISTO immunolabeling process and is comprised of PBS / 0.2% Tween™20 / 0.3 M glycine / 20% DMSO.

100 mL of Visikol HISTO Blocking Buffer
The Visikol HISTO Blocking Buffer is used during the Visikol HISTO immunolabeling process. This solution is comprised of PBS/0.2% Tween™20 / 6% donkey serum/10% DMSO

100 mL of Visikol HISTO Antibody Buffer
The Visikol HISTO Antibody Buffer is used with immunolabeling in the Visikol HISTO tissue labeling approach. This solution is comprised of PBS/0.2% Tween  20/Heparin/3% donkey serum/5% DMSO.

100 mL of Visikol HISTO Permeabilization Buffer
It is recommend that if you are trying to use Visikol HISTO-1 and Visikol HISTO-2 with larger, more collagenous, and difficult to clear tissues (e.g. liver tissue, archived human tissue, etc.) that you incubate overnight in the Visikol HISTO Tissue Permeabilization Buffer.
