European Regulatory Testing Methods Student Workshops
Curious about Mattek tissue models and how they work? Mattek’s location in Bratislava offers regulatory testing method workshops for local universities.
Workshops are free of charge and can comfortably accommodate up to 40 people, with the potential for larger groups. They are a great educational activity for university students as they prepare to become the next generation of scientists and provide an educational, hands-on experience on alternative testing methods.
Featured workshops*:
OECD TG 439 – Skin Irritation Test
OECD TG 492 – Eye Irritation Test
*Others available upon request
Workshop Structure:
The Mattek team will arrive on campus and setup.
Part 1: A presentation of the method. During this time participants will hear about Mattek tissues, the method, etc.
Part 2: 2 hours of interactive, hands-on experience. Participants work in pairs and learn how to perform the method using the Mattek human tissue model that is applicable for the method through hands-on experience. During this time Mattek scientists will guide participants and answer any questions that arise.
Please note: These trainings are only available through our location in Bratislava. On site training at Mattek’s Bratislava location is available, but only for up to 3 people and for a fee.
